HYDERABAD:
Two young men were shot dead by unknown assailants, riding motorbikes, in an armed assault at a doctor’s clinic in Budhani, a rural town in Kashmore Kandhkot district on Sunday. The district’s police informed that the attack was carried out on Dr Abdul Ghaffar Dangar’s clinic which is located in a commercial area.
The police identified the slain persons as Abdul Rehman Dangar, who died on the spot, and Muneer Ahmed Dangar, who died in the hospital later. Relatives of the deceased young man told the local media in the hospital that they do not have any enemy to suspect for the killings.
“We don’t understand the reason for the fights and killings happening in our area on a daily basis,” Muneer’s uncle said while talking to the media in the hospital. The other day five men were killed in the same Budhani town owing to an insignificant issue of a donkey cart hitting a man. Three men belonging to Bhutto caste and two to Bangwar were killed in the incident on March 29.
Meanwhile, a tribal clash between Lolai and Jagirani tribes also claimed two lives, besides leaving as many men injured. The incident occurred in a riverine area in Ghotki district on Saturday.
According to police, a wanted bandit Ali Hassan Jagirani was killed and his son Ayub Jagirani was injured in the armed clash which also took the life of Peer Bux Lolai. The Jagirianis reportedly took away the dead body of Ali Hassan as well as his son besides a young man from the Lolai tribe, Ayub Lolai. The slain bandit carried head money of Rs10 million.
Lolais reportedly took revenge for the alleged killing of their man Shabbir Lolai, who used to drive a tractor, by Jagiranis. The incident’s FIR could not be registered by Sunday evening.
