Mummy Pig has opened up about her third pregnancy, sharing how it has deepened her bond with Daddy Pig and what life looks like inside the Peppa Pig household as they prepare to welcome a baby girl this summer.
The beloved animated character gave her first in-depth interview to Grazia since the family’s recent gender reveal at London’s Battersea Power Station, where the iconic building was lit pink to celebrate the news. The couple, already parents to Peppa (age 4) and George (age 2), are eagerly preparing for the arrival of their third child.
“He’s always been such a supportive partner,” Mummy Pig said of Daddy Pig. “Even when there’s so much to organise, he’s kind, funny, and always ready to look after ‘Team Pig’.”
With Mummy Pig working from home as a writer and Daddy Pig busy “transmuting numbers” at his office job, the duo have mastered the art of juggling work, parenting, and now, pregnancy. But with baby number three on the way, Mummy Pig admits that being outnumbered may lead to a “messier and smellier” home life—though she says it will all be worth it.
The name of their new baby piglet has not been finalized yet, as they want to meet her first. In the meantime, Mummy Pig has developed an unusual pregnancy craving: “peanut butter and pickle sandwiches.”
“Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it,” she added with a laugh.
